Lab Members Attend 2024 Tri-Societies Conference

Lab members Arjun Chhetri, Facundo Lussich, and Presley Nickens attended the American Society of Agronomy (ASA), Crop Science Society of America (CSSA), and Soil Science Society of America (SSSA) Annual Meeting. The 2024 ASA, CSSA, and SSSA International Annual Meeting was held in San Antonio, Texas. The theme, “AI Innovations for a Changing Climate,” encouraged attendees to harness the power of AI for soil management and climate change mitigation.

  • Arjun presented on “Soil Nitrous Oxide Emissions and Greenhouse Gas Budget from Organic Cropping Systems.”
  • Facundo presented two posters, titled “Effect of 42 Years of Soil Health Practices on Soil Bacterial Community Across Soil Depth to Influence Nitrous Oxide Emissions” and “Magnitude and Drivers of Legume Cover Crop Nitrogen Fixation Under Long-Term Soil Health Practices.”
  • Presley presented a poster on “Moo-Ving Towards Greenhouse Gas Mitigation Under Climate Smart Grazing.”
