Lab member Presley Nickens placed first in the Animal Agriculture and the Environment Community poster competition at the Tri-Societies International Annual Meeting. The American Society of Agronomy, Crop Science Society of America, and Soil Science Society of America meeting was held in San Antonio, Texas. Her poster presentation was titled, “Moo-Ving Towards Greenhouse Gas Mitigation Under Climate Smart Grazing.”
At the University of Tennessee, her research focuses on enhancing the climate change mitigation potential of grasslands. The poster highlighted her preliminary findings of nitrous oxide, methane, and carbon dioxide fluxes under regenerative and continuous grazing methods. Congratulations, Presley!
