We are seeking a motivated student to conduct on-station and on-farm research on quantifying soil health and greenhouse gas emissions mitigation benefits of fiber hemp production. The research will explore fiber hemp cultivar and agronomic management (nitrogen fertility, soil amendments, tillage, and crop rotation) impacts on the above outcomes.
One funded Ph.D. position is available in the Biosystems Engineering and Soil Science Department at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. The preferred start date is August 1, 2024.
