The Biogeochemical Nutrient Cycling Lab is welcoming two lab members starting in Spring 2022!
Ryan Ackett and Facundo Lussich are starting their Ph.D. program at the Biosystems Engineering and Soil Science Department of UTK.
Ryan completed his MS from North Carolina State University. His research will focus on understanding and modeling biogeochemical N cycling in response to variable precipitation distribution.
Facundo completed his MS from National Institute of Agricultural Research in Uruguay. His dissertation research will understand soil O2 controls on soil N2O emissions processes from long-term conservation practices.
We look forward to working with Ryan and Facundo.
